Bannari Amman Institute of Technology (BIT), one of the premier Institutions of technical learning in India, was established with the singular objective of disseminating technical knowledge on part with global standards to the rural community in Southern India.Within a span of two decades, this citadel of learning has achieved many laurels, through its educational vision combined with corporate social responsibilities and social concerns.
The Department of Computer Science & Engineering is a unique center of BIT established in 1996. It offers a 4 year B.E(Computer Science & Engineering) programme and 2 year M.E. (Computer Science & engineering) programme. The department has been recognized as a centre for carrying out Ph.D./M.S. (by Research) Programme under Anna University, Chennai. It has dedicated and specialized faculty members in different areas of computer Science & Engineering with rich experience in academics, industry and research. The department has well equipped and spacious laboratories with modern computer equipments.
